Synopsis
La Batalla de Chile (1973-1979) is a three-part documentary detailing the events that led to the coup against Salvador Allende’s government on September 11, 1973. The first part details the 1972 elections and interviews the bourgeoisie who are certain they can take out Allende and his party democratically. It ends with the bombing of the government palace in June 1973. Part Two follows the military’s role in the months leading up to the coup. The film ends with a positive perspective on the workers who continued to fight even when they saw that the coup was inevitable.
Synopsis
Julio Comienza en Julio (1979) tells the story of a young elite boy’s coming of age in 1917 Chile. On his 15th birthday, his father buys him a night with a prostitute so he can lose his virginity. Unbeknownst to his father who leaves soon after, Julio falls in love with her. When his father returns, he forbids him from seeing her and in an act of paternal revenge, has sex with her.
Synopsis
Gloria (2013) follows a single middle-aged woman with grown kids who no longer need her and her romantic life. She meets an ex-navy man and begins a relationship with him, however, his overly dependent daughters hinder their relationship. By the end, he abandons her, but it is Gloria who has the last laugh since she asserts her power and her individuality.

La Batalla de Chile (1973-1979) es un documental en tres partes que detalla los eventos que provocaron el golpe de estado contra el gobierno de Salvador Allende el 11 de septiembre de 1973. La primera parte presenta las elecciones de 1972 y entrevista a la burguesía que está segura de poder derrocar a Allende y a su partido democráticamente. Sinopsis
Gloria (2013) cuenta la historia y la vida romántica de una mujer soltera de mediana edad con hijos mayores que ya no la necesitan. Conoce a un ex marine y comienza una relación con él, pero las hijas de éste, excesivamente dependientes, impiden su relación. Al final, él la abandona, pero es Gloria quien tiene la última palabra, ya que afirma su poder y su individualidad.
